What's Next?

Existing Market

Step 1: Next for my venture -  I will continue building on this idea and attempt to open a similar concept, but I am not quite sure about keeping this as a mobile concept. Short term, this seems like a great idea, but long-term, I would either have to build the business with more trainers or open up a center. Otherwise, I would also like to get involved in a separate idea of tackling misinformation in this day and age - so something relating to the political field and media is a secondary route I may want to take.

Step 2: Being that there weren't any conducted interviews, the next step for my customers is providing a pricing breakdown for my services. For the most part, I've been discussing general terms of my services but only a minor break down between $75 - $100 per month. Also, a website with more information and details would be ideal for potential customers to research before filling out a form.

Step 3: Through social media or a website, customers can choose their location, time, and build their plan out through the website. After they complete the form and provide their contact information, they will be reached and go through an interview process to confirm this information and inquire about their overall goals, commitment and other questions that will depict the specific plan that will go with each personal client. Once the location and times are set up we conduct a free workout to make sure one last time that they are interested then a full list of options - either 2 months, 6 months, or a year contract will be signed for them to dedicate themselves to the regimen. The only difference between these contracts and fitness center contracts is that there is no complicated process in order to cancel. If you want to quit and try something else, the client can do as they pleas.

New Market:
Step 1&2: A new market I would involve are people who don't live in the city and are incapable of travel. For example - an elderly person who wants to do some light fitness routines and needs a diet plan. There are many who live in retirement communities that have never joined a fitness center and don't know how to go about requesting a regimen to workout.
Step 3: This could an elderly person in their 60's who typically sits on the couch all day and watches the news, usually drives around in Nissan Maxima, and has no kids living at home

  1. I think you did a great job describing what would be next for your venture. You seem to have a clear idea of what it is you need to do to bring your product to market, and then adapt it as time goes on. I loved your new market idea. I think a lot of people don't consider colleges as business entities, and being able to market your product to colleges would be awesome for your business. I was also very surprised with my new market, and am glad this assignment brought us both to a place we did not think of before.
    Great job!

  2. Hey Joaquin,
You did a great job in describing what you were planning to do with your service and your venture. You seem to know exactly how to handle this situation, and have seen that you have some obstacles to overcome. You can do even get more exposure if you were to adjust the market you are trying to reach or even adjust the audience you are trying to reach or even expand it. Great post!
