Piecing it all together - Mobile Fitness Service
I am a UF student currently living in the nation's capital, Washington D.C. Being that I've gone through several sales jobs and political experiences, I've been able to pick up better communication and public speaking skills. Although I've been involved in political advocacy, I am leaning more toward someday being my own boss and running a fitness style-related service. If I were to start this sort of concept, I would see it as a separate entity apart from my career, but eventually would try to manage the service full-time.
The service I would be offering to customers is a mobile gym service. This would help those who are constrained on time and or don't want to travel long distances to find the right fitness center to them. I would be bringing the center to their home or place of choice. This means equipment, personal training, and diet regimens compacted into one. Aside from people who are short on time, age group is irrelevant. This could be a full-on family workout or it could pertain to a senior citizen who wants that extra kick in their life.
Customers should care because this will help them better manage their time and do more than simply spending time driving in traffic or debating whether they should even go in the first place. This isn't an ordinary mobile center, but one that differentiates itself by including diet plans combined with fitness schedules and state of the art equipment. Who wouldn't prefer working out in the comfort of their own home?
Conclusion: One issue I see coming from this concept is managing the equipment myself. This means I either have to travel in an enormous truck filled with equipment or I don't take equipment with me. Also, being that I want to include dieting tips, I would need to get certified in the nutritionist realm in order to provide the best possible tips and plans. Lastly, because I am including so many benefits along with the service, how expensive will that cost clients? This is something that must be precise in order to keep business steady.

Hey Joaquin! I enjoyed the details you gave about the business model for your mobile gym center. When reading your concept, I immediately thought about the labor required to move heavy gym equipment because you stated that it would be in a mobile center. Will you have to transport heavy fitness machines into someone's home by yourself? Aside from that, I think the idea of a mobile gym for people who lack the time and motivation would be profitable because of a need for convenience.
